Family looking for a mothers helper to support mum her newborn.

• Support Mum with the care of our newborn baby girl (feeding support as directed, nappies, settling, baths, dressing, and daily routines)
• Give Mum regular breaks and time out during the working day so she can rest, shower, run errands, or have a bit of space
• Prepare simple meals and snacks (for Mum and the household as needed)
• Light household help related to the baby and day-to-day running of the home: washing, folding, tidying, and basic cleaning
• Occasional extra hours babysitting in the evening or weekend work while Mum and Dad are out for dinner (agreed in advance)

What we are looking for

• Genuine experience with newborns / young babies
• Calm, practical, and easy to work with
• Happy to take direction from Mum and work as part of the household
• Current first aid (or willing to get it)
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to keep family matters private
• Right to work in New Zealand

Hours / arrangement

Monday to Friday 12pm - 5pm with agreed extra hours in advance for weeknights or weekend help.
Evenings or Weekend work is extra, not assumed every week. Household tasks stay light — baby care and giving Mum a break come first.
